WHAT IS DRUG COURT?
The Rock County Drug Treatment Court is a five-phase Treatment Diversion Program that is a collaborative effort between the Rock County Courts, the Rock County Sheriff’s Office, the Rock County District Attorney’s Office, the State Public Defender’s Office, Rock County Human Services, and the Wisconsin Department of Corrections. The program is a minimum of fourteen months.

  • Criminogenic risk-need assessment
  • Biopsychosocial assessment
  • MAT and psychiatry services
  • Case management
  • Moral Reconation Therapy
  • SUD (Substance Use Disorder)Treatment
  • Anger Management course
  • Relapse prevention course
  • Trauma services
  • DBT

WHO IS ELIGIBLE?

  • Adult residents (at least 18 years of age) of Rock County
  • Conviction of a non-violent offense motivated by substance use, addiction or dependency
  • Violent felony offenders or those convicted of a violent misdemeanor offense within the last three years are not eligible.
  • Individual agrees to plea guilty or no contest to current charges (in exchange for potential reduction or dismissal of those charges or other sentencing concessions made upon successful completion of the program).

HOW DO CLIENTS PAY FOR SERVICES?
There is a $100 fee due at intake with a payment of $10 per week required thereafter until program participation is completed. (Fees are waived for referrals from the Department of Corrections.)
