WHAT IS CCS?
In accordance with DHS 36, Comprehensive Community Services (CCS) is a community mental health and AODA (Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse) program providing psychosocial rehabilitation to children and adults with mental illness, substance abuse or a co-occurring diagnosis.

WHAT TREATMENT AND SERVICES ARE AVAILABLE?
Treatment is recovery focused with an emphasis on consumers during the planning process. Psychosocial rehabilitation services provided include:

  • Screening and assessment

  • Psychotherapy
  • Skill development and enhancement
  • Employment-related skills training

Each CCS participant is assigned a service facilitator (case manager). They will assist you in coordinating your services and will help you develop a recovery plan that will include your goals and how CCS staff can help you to meet those goals. You will have a mental health professional and/or a substance abuse professional. You can include other people in your recovery plan including friends, family or anyone that can help you to meet your goals.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
CCS is available to children and adults who meet the following criteria:

  • Rock County resident
  • Eligible for Medicaid
  • Have a mental health or substance abuse diagnosis
  • Per the state functional screen, determined to need psychosocial rehabilitation services

HOW DO CLIENTS PAY FOR SERVICES?
