This popular, picturesque park is located off Cty Hwy J at Shopiere, bordering Turtle Creek. Many people in the area still refer to the park as "Shopiere Park".

Sweet-Allyn Park was the first of Rock County's parks (1945). It was the gift of Miss Ida Louise Sweet. In her will, Miss Sweet bequeathed the land for the park. She also left some funds for development of the park. She requested that the park be named "Sweet-Allyn Park".

The park has a picnic shelter, picnic tables, grills, electricity, a large parking lot, restrooms, a softball diamond, playground equipment, and places to fish along the creek.

The Dan Delong softball diamond was constructed, to a great extent, through the efforts of local citizens. These citizens furnished a lot of volunteer labor and contributed funds for the project. In 2009 it was renamed the Dan Delong Ball Diamond, in honor of the late Dan Delong and his contributions to Rock County.

The Shopiere dam was removed from Turtle Creek in Sweet-Allyn County Park in the fall of 1999. The Turtle Community Organization installed a dam memorial in 2009 that is built with original dam stone and a small plaque commemorating the dam and its history.

The parking lot will accommodate 70 cars. An annual event at this park is the huge Turtle Community Organization's 4th of July Celebration.
