GoOrangeDay

National Work Zone Safety Awareness Week is April 26th thru April 30th with Resolution Declaration.

There are many, many people who perform work on our highways to help Rock County residents, visitors, and passers-by get to their destinations safely.  Highway & Construction Workers, Sheriff Deputies, Fire and EMS Personnel, Tow Truck Drivers, Utility Workers, and others, all provide services to enhance the safety of the traveling public.  They perform this work for all of us.

As an effort to raise awareness regarding the safety issues in work zones, the Rock County Department of Public Works has partnered with the Rock County Sheriff’s Office to get the word out. We appreciate you visiting our webpage and encourage you to read our press release, watch the Work Zone Safety Videos, participate in our coloring event, participate in “Go Orange Day,” and especially help get the word out!
